We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for building high-quality customer-facing software experiences to enhance and expand our digital payment platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience building, scaling, and maintaining full-stack web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Django/Python.
• Design and implement data solutions using industry-standard relational and non-relational database systems.
• Participate in the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through automated testing, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate on the design of new features and optimization of existing features.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies and propose adjustments to workflows and technologies.
• Contribute to development and troubleshooting of frontend UIs interacting with backend APIs.
• Participate in incident management on-call rotation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Experience with modern languages such as Python, Java, PHP, Go, etc.
• Experience with modern Javascript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.
• Proven ability to build complex web systems and applications.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience working within distributed systems, understanding scalability and reliability aspects.

Desired Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with web application development using Python and Django.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience working with modern cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong grasp of database modeling and management.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in automated testing best practices and modern tooling.
• Experience with cloud monitoring services such as DataDog, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
